When Taylor Swift caught up with key squad members for the Kings of Leon show in Manhattan, they each displayed varying versions of laid-back hairstyles be in down and textures or up and cool. Lily Aldridge stepped out to support her husband and KoL frontman, Caleb Followill, with her rich brunette lengths bent into effortless waves. Her model friends Martha Hunt, Lily Dondaldson clearly got the down and textured memo, as did fellow Brit, Suki Waterhouse,who all tonged their blonde hair into piecey kinks that could survive the night of dancing.

Meanwhile firmly in the ponytail camp was Swift herself and pal Cara Delevingne, who each tucked up their razored chops up into low and high ponytails respectively. Honourable mention goes to Swift’s fringe, which has settled post chop into Debbie Harry, face-framing look like a champion. The message? arm yourself with a good texture spray, because no matter which way you take your hair it’s the only styling product you’ll need this weekend.
