Taylor Swift’s highly-anticipated Netflix documentary Miss Americana has finally been released and in it, the singer is more candid than ever. Not only does she open up about suffering from an eating disorder, but she speaks about why she finally addressed her political stance and, the most unexpected part of all, she included a look at her ultra-private relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.

In fact, it looks like she might’ve confirmed the long-standing rumour that the two are engaged to be married.

The reports that the couple, who have been together for three years, could be engaged started around the time of Swift’s Lover album release, where she dropped multiple hints and included lyrics such as, “My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue. All’s well that ends well, to end up with you.”

The reports eventually died down when neither Swift nor Alwyn would speak to them, but in scene of Miss Americana, Swift was spotted wearing what looks very much like a huge diamond ring.

When she’s sitting on the couch talking about politics, the 30-year-old says, “I want to be on the right side of history,” and then lifts up her left hand which has a ring on that finger.

When asked about whether Swift is, in fact, engaged, Miss Americana director Lana Wilson remained pretty tight-lipped, responding to InStyle, “Whoa. I’m going to have to revisit that scene.”

Ring aside, Alwyn showed up on camera to give Swift a hug after one of her shows and she was seen mouthing “I love you” to him at one point. The pair have never spoken about their relationship pubicly, apart from Alwyn saying “it’s flattering” recently when prompted about what he thinks of Swift writing songs.

Speaking of her future in the documentary, Swift later said, “There’s part of me that feels like I’m 57 years old, but there’s part of me that’s definitely not ready to have kids and definitely not ready for all that grown up stuff. I kind of don’t really have the luxury of figuring stuff out, though, because my life is planned two years ahead of time. Literally, in two months, they’ll come at me with dates for the next tour.”
