Sofia Richie and her beauty routine first piqued my interest back in March when she uploaded an image of herself wearing a sheet mask that looked suspiciously like a Kraft Cheese Single. It was intriguing and hilarious all at once.
Fast-forward to now, and the beauty intel has only gotten better. She shared her go-to fragrance, Carnal Flower by Editions Frederic Malle, and “what she puts on her face” (see below).
She’s shared captions promoting adequate sun protection (even when indoors), divulged her favourite candle, even discussed the hair oil she is, and I quote “obsessed with”.
But her latest endeavour is a cryptic post – one that’s got even the most devout beauty enthusiasts (me) frustrated.
Richie has shared two posts of her with her favourite Tom Ford lipstick – and clearly she’s not lying based on the visibly used shape of the product. At a glance it’s a creamy, pinky-beige, but nowhere does Richie tell her followers what the colour actually is. How rude.
Beauty industry stalwart and Violet Grey founder Cassandra Grey even tried to do the dirty work for us, re-posting the image of Sofia and her beloved Tom Ford with the caption, “This girl. @sofiarichie what shade of @tomfordbeauty is that? The kids wanna know.”
Sadly, Richie hasn’t commented back.
So what is it? What is Sofia’s Tom Ford lipstick colour of choice? Because I hate not knowing, I’ve taken an educated guess on the shade name myself: Casablanca.
Not only is it the perfect pinky-taupe, it’s Tom Ford’s best-selling lipstick. There you go! Case closed (sort of). You’re welcome.
