Celebrity hair stylist, Jen Atkin’s (and owner behind it-girl hairline Ouai) knows a fair bit about hair. Being the main mane tamer behind both Hadids, Chrissy Teigan, Jenna Tatum Dewan, Lily Collins, and practically all the Kardashian / Jenners, it’s a given that when she talks, we listen. Her latest product love? The guru in all things hair took to Instagram to share this brilliant, bright spark Aussie invention by Slip (cc anyone still in need of gifting inspo).

While the average pillow case might not arouse high levels of gifting excitement, Slip seperates itself by being made entirely of mulberry silk making it luxuriously soft while ensuring that you’ll wake up with smooth hair and better skin. Pretty much it’s the Rolls-Royce of bedding and really, who would not want to wake up to that come the 25th?
So how does it work? Essentially sleeping on silk reduces friction to your skin and hair, causing less tugging, which can lead to pre-mature wrinkles, hair breakage, and frizz, while also extending the life of that blow-dry.
