Say what you will about about the humble slip-on slide, but the fact Gigi Hadid has worn four different versions on the streets of New York in just three weeks makes it totally hot property.
Formerly reserved for poolside holidays and spa visits, rubber soled sandals have been boosted into luxe footwear territory thanks largely to Rihanna’s faux fur Fenty version for Puma this year. They’re so good, Gigi has them in multiple colours.
Take the model’s lead and team them with jeans and a bomber in winter or a slip dress in warmer weather. Props for the coolest comfy footwear to hit the fashion scene since Birkenstocks three seasons ago.
