Georg Jensen OCRF Forget Me Knot Pendent, silver, $295 SHOP NOW
The 120-year-old Danish jewellery brand is celebrating 10 years of honouring those affected by Ovarian Cancer, Australia’s most lethal gynaecological cancer which takes the life of one woman every eight hours. This year, Georg Jensen is spotlighting Suki Paddington’s story, a young mother who lost her own mother, Margy, to Ovarian Cancer in 2023. “I’m so proud to share my incredible mum, Margy’s story in the 2024 Georg Jensen OCRF campaign,” says Suki. “We miss mum every single day, so keeping her memory and legacy alive in such a moving national campaign is a true honour. We have a long way to go with ovarian cancer research, and this Georg Jensen OCRF pendant is helping fund this crucial work. Research that will help us better detect, treat and prevent ovarian cancer, so one day, other families don’t have to go through what we have been through.” A sterling silver pendent which features a Forget-Me-Knot design inspired by the fit and active nurse is now on sale at the jeweller for $295 with a $50 donation going direct to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF). An 18kt gold pendant retails for $1,350 with a $200 donation to the OCRF. We encourage you all to spend a few minutes watching the incredible moving campaign video featuring Suki, her husband, Kevin, and their young son here.
