Selena Gomez has been seen for the first time since she checked in to rehab to seek treatment for an emotional breakdown more than two months ago.

Gomez’s friends Bailee Madison and Connar Franklin shared photos on Instagram posing with the pop star, the trio apparently on a skiing vacation in Big Bear, California.

The Wolves singer appeared happy and healthy, an especially positive sign given she’s been experiencing ongoing complications from a 2017 kidney transplant.

The kidney transplant and mental health issues are both the result of Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease the 26-year-old has been battling for at least five years.

In an interview earlier this year, Selena was honest about the toll lupus has taken on her.

“I’ve had a lot of issues with depression and anxiety, and I’ve been very vocal about it, but it’s not something I feel I’ll ever overcome,” she said.

“There won’t be a day when I’m like, ‘Here I am in a pretty dress — I won!’ I think it’s a battle I’m gonna have to face for the rest of my life, and I’m okay with that because I know that I’m choosing myself over anything else.”
