2022 is here and so is Selena Gomez, slaying not one but two amazing beauty looks within the first week alone.
Together with her makeup artist Hung Vanngo, Gomez’s first look was ’90s supermodel chic, involving perfectly sculpted skin, a full taupe lip, fluffy brows and a soft, smugdy winged liner. Gomez’s hair was worn in a glossy blown-out lob with a rounded edge beneath her chin — and in the perfect shade of chocolate brown. Vanngo used her very own Rare Beauty — a line of makeup products Gomez launched in 2020 with the intention of shining a light on mental health.

The second look was a little edgier, with a longer wing and plummy eyeshadow. Her lips were also lacquered with a lighter shade of peach — perfect paired with the soft pink blush and oversized gold hoops.

It’s not clear what exactly the looks were for — Gomez hasn’t made any public appearances since last year. The singer and actress has however been filming an upcoming Hulu crime comedy with Steve Martin called, Only Murders In The Building.
People Magazine did however run an interview with Gomez earlier this week, where she talked about her thoughts in relation to turning 30 later this year: “‘I’ve stopped caring about what people have to say,” Gomez told the outlet. “When I was younger, I was scared of it, and I thought by now my life would look so different. But now I’m like, ‘Wow, this is not what I ever expected, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
