Selena Gomez celebrated what she described as “the most beautiful year of [her] life” this weekend, with a 70s disco-inspired 33rd birthday bash.
A few days ahead of her actual birthday on July 22, the singer took to Instagram to allow fans a glimpse into the event and its star-studded guest list, including her bestie Taylor Swift, and fiancé Benny Blanco.
In one snap, the birthday-girl was seen posing alongside Swift, sitting among a pile of balloons and looking up at the camera. Gomez wore a silver sequined jumpsuit, styled with a fur jacket, and wore silver jewellery to accessorise. This of course included her marquise diamond engagement ring.
Swift wore a black minidress and donned her signature red lip for the occasion.
In more photos, Gomez posed alongside her fiancé, who wore a velvet blazer over an animal print button up with an exaggerated collar. The producer further styled the retro look with round shades and animal print loafers.
In her caption, the Rare Beauty founder expressed her feelings on the year ahead.
“As I step into this new year, I’m filled with excitement and hope for what’s to come,” she shared. “I look forward to sharing more moments with all of you, creating new memories, and continuing this beautiful journey together.”
These festivities come shortly after reports that Gomez and Blanco will be holding their wedding later this year, and that Swift will be in attendance.
The pair got engaged in December 2024 after over a year of dating, and recently Blanco spoke on a podcast about the upcoming nuptials, explaining the event will be “chill” but “amazing.”
