Sara Sampaio hit Burning Man overnight

Like Karlie Kloss, Sara Sampaio isn’t quite the celebrity you’d expect to visit one of the most intense festivals in the world, Burning Man. But as more and more millionaires, billionaires and celebrities alike threaten to un-do the focus on technology-free camping and self-reliance, with plugged-in camps sites and staff on hand 24/7, it’s easier just to fly in for a day or two and out again.

Sampaio travelled to the pop-up city in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to catch the final day and dust-stormy night of the festival. “I needed the burn so badly this year!” posted the model about her second Burn. “What a place! Even sick, loved every minute of it. You can be whoever you want!”

Sampaio joined Kloss (who arrived on a vacuum cleaner), Cara and Poppy Delevingne, Katy Perry, Scott Eastwood and incessantly leotard-clad Paris Hilton.
