It looks like Rihanna’s fans’ dreams have finally come true: the singer-turned-beauty and lingerie mogul is officially releasing new music, and, not only that, but it’s coming this week.

Yesterday, Marvel Studios confirmed Rihanna, who’s performing at next year’s Superbowl, will be featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, making the album’s release on Friday 28th containing her first single to drop in six years.

The film studio shared the news in a brief clip that showed a glittering Wakanda Forever logo transitioning into Rihanna’s signature R logo. Naturally, the internet quickly lost it with excitement and Rihanna’s name became a trending topic soon after.

This isn’t the only exciting Rihanna-themed news this week, either. This week she revealed Savage X Fenty Volume 4 – her boundary-breaking lingerie show cum music video extravaganza – is coming to Prime Video next month. Like the Savage X Fenty shows that came before it, the fourth edition will feature celebrity cameos (previously the likes of Lizzo, Demi Moore and Paris Hilton have been included) and musical guests.

Confirmed in this year’s line-up is Precious Lee, Lilly Singh, Rickey Thompson, Taraji P Henson, Taylour Paige and Marsai Martin take to the stage with returning Savages Cara Delevingne, Irina Shayk and Joan Smalls.

Rihanna’s choreographer, New Zealand dancer Parris Goebel, who worked with her on all three previous shows, will no doubt return, too, posting three purple devil emojis on the singer’s announcement ‘gram.

New music this week, a Savage X Fenty show next month and a Superbowl performance next year? Rihanna is giving.
