Rihanna has dropped a hint that wedding bells might be around the corner, revealing to US Vogue editor Anna Wintour which designer she wants to work with on her dress.

The music, fashion and beauty mogul gave a rare interview for the November issue of Vogue, also sitting down with Wintour for the “Go Ask Anna” video series.

Asked by Anna about what her wedding gown might look like, RiRi said, “‘It would probably be a collaboration between myself and [John] Galliano, of course.”

Galliano and Rihanna have enjoyed a close working relationship and friendship since very early on in her career.

In the magazine, Rihanna also talks about the wild success of Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty, her long-awaited new album, turning down an offer to play at the Super Bowl, and (very briefly) her relationship with billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel.

Of the newest addition to the Fenty empire, the fabulously free-wheeling Fenty maison, her Paris-based luxury label, Rihanna says, “it can be tomboy one day. It can be a gown the next. A skirt. A swimsuit.”

In Rihanna’s world, there are no rules other than the ones she makes.

She’s one of the most powerful women in the world yet she revealed an endearingly chilled side to her personality, when plucking what might have been a bug out of her drink.

“Is something in your glass?” the waitress asks.

“It’s cool. I’m not picky,” Rihanna says.

“Are you sure?”

“I so promise.”

She’s the realest.

She talked about her upcoming Rihanna photo book, a huge tome due out this spring, and about why she turned down the decision to play the Super Bowl in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick.

“I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people. I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler. There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”

Quizzed about her romance, she was coy, saying, “I’m actually in an exclusive relationship for quite some time, and it’s going really well, so I’m happy.” (Yes, she wants kids. “Without a doubt.”

And as for that album her fans have been waiting for? She still won’t mention a release date, but promises that reggae will run all the way through it, and that in spite of her burgeoning empire, she will never stop the music.

“It was my first pen pal–ship to the world. To cut that off is to cut my communication off. All of these other things flourish on top of that foundation.”
