After years of rumours – and definitely a few hookups here and there – it looks like the World’s Coolest Woman, Rihanna, and the World’s Hottest Man, A$AP Rocky, might finally be giving their romance a proper go.
When Rihanna split with her billionaire boyfriend of three years, Hassan Jameel, in January, there were reports that the singer’s relationship with Rocky, who she’s been friends with for around a decade, had turned romantic (again). But a source later shut that down, telling E! that despite the gossip, Rihanna was actually still single.
Then, over the weekend, Page Six reported that the pair had been spotted having dinner with friends at the Beatrice Inn in New York, prompting PEOPLE to do some digging and confirm that, hurrah!, they’re dating for real.
Sadly for us, there’s not much to go off: PEOPLE wrote that a source has confirmed that the musicians are “dating,” but failed to find out any other intel, such as when the union started or how serious it is.
The couple has been working together a bit recently, too. In July, Rihanna featured Rocky in her Fenty Skin campaign and the duo did a bunch of press surrounding the release. When asked by the singer what the “hardest part” about working with her was, Rocky said, “I think the hardest part about working with you is not goofin’ off and laughing the whole time. Like this s— is comedy. That’s the hardest part. You know, people be so cool it’s hard not to, not to laugh. That’s all.
He continued, “But it was fun. The hardest part is not having too much fun. You just forget that it’s still work at the end of the day.”
In 2019, the pair also attended the British Fashion Awards together and in 2018 they sat together at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris.
