Step 1 Start by applying AVEDA Damage Daily Hair Repair to towel-dried hair, which works like a sunscreen for your hair protecting against heat styling of up to 450 degrees celsius
Step 2 Spritz AVEDA Thickening Tonic from roots to ends and blow-dry your hair upside-down for extra volume at the roots
Step 3 Tame frizz with a paddle brush and smooth hair from the mid-lengths to ends
Step 4 Wrap medium-sized sections of hair around large velcro rollers

Step 1 Apply AVEDA Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair through damp hair
Step 2 Boost your hair stylers efforts by applying AVEDA Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight throughout even sections of hair
TIP There’s a difference between straight hair and totally flat hair, and it comes down to having volume at the roots. For maximum lift at the base, use the “wrap” technique by brushing your hair totally to one side with a paddle brush and blasting dry the roots, before repeating on the other side
Step 3 Once the roots have dried, blow dry the rest of your hair smooth with a brush
TIP Holding the nozzle of your hair dryer directly on your brush can overheat your hair and damage it. Instead, place the brush brush underneath a section of hair and let the airflow from the hair dryer hold your hair in the brush
Step 4 Move the brush down hair and follow it with the blow dryer, drying mid-lengths and then ends of the hair. Follow the brush with the hair dryer and dry from the mid-lengths to the ends of the hair, fix up any stray strands with a straightener if necessary

Step 1 Once again avoid excess heat damage with the AVEDA Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair and comb through damp hair
Step 2 Prime hair for curling with the AVEDA Be Curly Curl Enhancer and work through to ends
Step 3 To add volume and definition to curls, blow-dry with a diffuser on a low speed and medium heat
TIP Cup hair into the diffuser and avoid excess handling which can lead to frizz
Step 4 When hair is completely dry, use a curling iron to create uniform curls. Once cool, avoid frizz by using your fingers to style, and separate into you desired look
TIP Add texture by refining and curling random strands
