Rebel Wilson has joined the scores of stars going on the record about their experiences with sexual harassment in Hollywood.

The Australian actress has shared two encounters in a series of tweets, including a disturbing scenario where a famous man demanded she insert a finger into his behind while other men watched.

“A male star in a position of power asked me to go into a room with him and then asked me repeatedly to stick my finger up his ass,” Wilson tweeted.

“All whilst his male ‘friends’ tried to film the incident on their iPhones and laughed. I repeatedly said no and eventually got out of the room.

“I called my agent immediately and my lawyer made a complaint with the studio—basically to protect myself that in the event something similar ever occurred I’d be able to walk out of the job and not obliged to return.”

The 37-year-old said after the incident she was pressured to get along with the man.

“Later I was threatened by one of the star’s representatives to be nice and support the male star. I refused.

“The whole thing was disgusting. I’ve told hundreds of people in the industry the story in more graphic detail basically to warn them off this individual.”

The Bridesmaids star’s other encounter was similar to that of many women who’ve come forward about men in Hollywood behaving inappropriately, saying he had a “hotel room encounter with a top director.”

“I thought we were there to talk comedy,” she said.

“Nothing physical happened because the guy’s wife called and started abusing him over the phone for sleeping with actresses and luckily she was yelling so loud that I could hear her and I bolted out of there immediately.

“I was so naive the thought of anything happening apart from ‘work talk’ didn’t even cross my mind.”

Wilson added that she feels grateful she was able to “escape both incidents” and realises “not everyone is as lucky”.

“I know, moving forward, that if I witness this behavior, whether it happens to me or someone I know, I will no longer be POLITE,” she said. “Interpret that as you will.”

Comedian and actor Louis C.K. is the latest Hollywood star to be accused of sexual misconduct. After five female comics accused him of taking out his penis and masturbating when they were alone in a room with him, he confessed “the stories are true”. His movie I Love You, Daddy was due for release this week but has been scrapped, and network FX, which ran his show Louie, have cut ties with him.
