When Priyanka Chopra failed to attend long-time friend Meghan Markle’s baby shower in New York City last month, it rang alarms bells.

The actress, who attended the royal wedding last year, reportedly said she was too “bogged down” in Los Angeles in meetings to attend the baby shower of the century.

Soon enough, an insider told Page Six there was tension between Meghan and Priyanka because the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t make it to Chopra’s wedding to musician Nick Jonas in India in December.

According to the publication, Markle couldn’t attend the wedding because of her pregnancy leaving Chopra “crushed”.

“Their friendship is over unless Meghan apologises,” said one source.

“Priyanka is a huge international star with a tremendous social media following. She is probably more famous worldwide than Meghan is. She feels Meghan didn’t respect her, and didn’t respect their friendship.”

Neither woman had responded to reports of a feud, but if anyone can get someone to spill the tea, it’s Andy Cohen. He put the question to the Quantico star when she appeared on his show Watch What Happens Live! this week.

“They said you didn’t go to [Meghan’s] baby shower because you were pissed at her,” Cohen probed.

“Oh my God, no, it’s not true,” Chopra responded.

That’s settled then. Or is it? We would have liked a bit more assurance, to be honest.
