Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit Catalyst Inc, Northern Ireland’s next generation science park, to meet young entrepreneurs and innovators on March 23, 2018 in Belfast, Nothern Ireland.

Since relinquishing their royal roles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been camping out at the same Vancouver Island mansion where they spent Christmas with their son, Archie Harrison, and Markle’s mum, Doria Ragland.

But now that the dust has somewhat settled, the royal couple is reportedly ready to make a move, setting their sights firmly on the bright lights of Hollywood.

Earlier this week, Madonna randomly offered the duke and duchess her NYC apartment to rent via an Instagram video, saying Canada is “boring” and urging them not to lay down roots there. “Don’t run off to Canada. It’s so boring there,” she said. “I’ll let them sublet my apartment on Central Park West. It’s two bedrooms. It’s got the best view of Manhattan.”

Surprisingly, it appears the singer wasn’t too far off:  it’s been reported that Harry and Meghan are in fact currently shopping for homes in the USA, just on the opposite side of the country, in Southern California.

“They love being in Canada, but they are looking at houses in L.A. too,” a source told PEOPLE, noting that “They’ll likely have houses in both places.”

But given that the paparazzi were a major factor in them choosing to leave Britain, and the fact that they even threatened legal action when images of Meghan were taken while she was hiking in Canada, is Tinseltown really the best bet for a quiet life outside of the spotlight?
