For many this morning, it was pure elation; Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter announced she was pregnant with twins. For others though the news of two bey-bies brought on a feeling of “I’m really happy for you, but your Coachella show was going to be the best show of all time.” Yes, people who booked tickets especially to see the Queen in concert at arguably the most famous music festival in the world in April have been left with anxiety. Those purchasing flights from Australia, even more so. And they aren’t the only ones panicking.

AEG Live – the company responsible for producing Coachella – were allegedly kept in the dark about the singer’s pregnancy, reports TMZ. “Sources connected with AEG Live tell us… at least some of the top execs had no idea Bey was expecting, and it now makes her headlining gig at the festival problematic.”

Pregnancy news should never be viewed as in any means “problematic”, but anyway. Judging by the size of her bump, many have predicted she is four or five months along which by April would mean she will be heavily pregnant (and potentially even bigger since she’s expecting twins).

But never fear, keep in mind Beyoncé performed a rigorous dance routine before announcing to the world she was pregnant with first daughter Blue Ivy in 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards. Granted, she was reportedly four months along.

But lets think about this for a second: While festival organisers were kept in the dark, Beyoncé herself obviously knew she was pregnant and wouldn’t have accepted a festival headlining offer if she couldn’t do it. Perhaps you can expect a less-choreographed-and-more-ballad-belting performance coupled with a monstrous production budget to make up for her immobility. Well, that’s our take on it, anyway. Stay strong, Beehive.
