Taking to the stage at Qudos Bank Arena, Katy Perry, who is also currently touring Australia, and Hugh Jackman were among the thousands of fans who packed the stadium for her first post-hospital concert.

“Hope I didn’t screw up anybody’s week. Sorry if I did. But we’re gonna party tonight,” she told the crowd.

Despite suffering from an upper respiratory infection and stomach virus, only leaving hospital on Wednesday, the What About Us singer was energetic as ever, performing her physical aerial dances moves without sign of a struggle.

The 38-year-old has 16 more Australian shows left, taking her to Brisbane, Melbourne, and back to Sydney again to perform the concerts she postponed. A true professional.
