The hotel has partnered with the skincare brand to offer its guests a chance to discover the best in Aesop’s luscious skin, hair and body formulations while staying in one of the hotel’s 19 premium harbour-side suites – all with freestanding bathtubs.
Soak in locally-made bath salts while taking in the potent scents of the body scrub’s geranium leaf and bamboo stem, the body balm’s tangerine rind and sandalwood, and the body oil’s blood orange and jojoba seed. With your sense of scent invigorated, listen to the soothing Mindfulness Session recorded by Flow Athletic’s leading yogi Kate Kendall, a piece she created exclusively for Pier One.
In suite, you’ll get to choose from a bottle of premium Australian sparkling wine, Australian gin, or non-alcoholic cocktails.
Available as a hotel package or as an add-on to a booking for AUD$320, you can book now via the concierge. I personally indulged in the Bath Cart experience over the Christmas break and can vouch for it being the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for a partner or a gift to oneself. (I chose the sparkling wine option and ordered cheese and crackers to the room as well. You’ll also find Aesop shampoo and conditioner in the shower, the perfect post-bath ritual.) The heady scents while splashing about in a tub overlooking the water is simultaneously intoxicating and relaxing.
