When Emily Ratajkowski announced — by announced we mean liked shady tweets about — her divorce from her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, one person whose name was high on the list of potential people the internet could see dating the freshly single model and author was, naturally, SNL comedian Pete Davidson.
But despite Davidson’s dating track record most definitely indicating he could charm the pants (quite literally) off Em Rata with that BDE (Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, Margaret Qualley, to name but a few talented, gorgeous women he’s dated recently), there was one issue seemingly standing in the way: Davidson’s apparent friendship with Bear McClard.
However, if there was friendship, that appears not to have stood in the way of this inevitable romance (or hook up). According to the internet’s real-life Gossip Girl, Davidson and Ratajkowski were seen on a date in New York City over the weekend.
“Spotted”, wrote @DeuxMoi followed by a screenshot from a follower: “Can’t believe I’m saying this, anon pls. Em Rata and Pete Davidson on a date in Brooklyn together. Holding hands and ALLLLL.”
In a second screenshot, a message said, “his hands were allll over her and they’re clearly hooking up.”
Of course, one must note that @DeuxMoi submissions are anonymous and unverified, so this could most definitely be a case of a wishful-thinking prank. Though we also must note, it’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility. On her podcast, High Low, Ratajkowski has been open about being on the market and dating. She was rumoured to be casually seeing Brad Pitt for a few weeks, then was photographed kissing a tall brunette motorcycle-riding DJ in New York last month.
Meanwhile, Davidson and Kardashian’s nine-month romance ended in August this year.
