You know it’s going to be a good week when makeup demigod Pat McGrath launches a new product. It’s going to be an extra good week when said product is a mascara, and even more exciting when that mascara is the first mascara for Pat McGrath Labs.

Drumroll, please…introducing FetishEyes, a high-impact mascara for those seeking dramatic, doll-like lashes (i.e. McGrath lashes). And what better way to meet her than on the lashes of Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski at Versace’s Men’s Fall / Winter 19 show.

Taking her new wand for a spin, McGrath debuted FetishEyes with chunky 60s-style lashes on the handful of female models that walked in the show, confirming via Instagram the mascara will be available for purchase on February 14 (in the UK).

Set amongst her usual sea of sequins, she explained the function of FetishEyes on Instagram: “Prepare to LASH HAUTE with #FetishEYES Mascara. This instantly iconic formulation unleashes the ultimate in pro performance artistry, saturating each individual lash in the most intense black pigment while dramatically lifting and lengthening for unprecedented fullness and maximum volume. Straight from the lab, this all-in-one mascara seamlessly builds from coquettishly feathered to editorially-inspired, for a full-on lash fantasy that becomes more extreme with every swipe.”

She adds: “Designed to entice the beauty-obsessed, this haute hardcore mascara was developed for makeup artists by makeup artists and was relentlessly tested both backstage and on set to ensure lethally luxe lashes of every persuasion.”

Lethally luxe lashes? You’re talking our language, Pat. With the spider lash trend back in fashionable favour, FetishEyes – in all its goopy, high-octane glory – couldn’t have come at a better time. And while there’s still no word on the Australian launch date, we wait with open arms (and lashes) for its arrival. Get excited; this is set to be your new fetish.
