On Wednesday night in Los Angeles, one could have mistaken the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard for that of the Met Gala steps. For Gucci’s Los Angeles fashion show, the stars were out in force, not just sitting pretty in the front row, but walking the runway, too. One such celebrity to attend was none other than Olivia Wilde, who’s likely gotten close to Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele over the past year of dating the brand’s muse and official face, one Mr. Harry Styles.
Though Styles was absent due to being in the middle of his current tour (for which he’s been sporting many a Gucci look), Wilde made sure to fly back from New York City, where she’d been supporting her beau side of stage, to make an appearance for the night. Wearing top-to-toe Gucci, Wilde lent into the lingerie and corset dressing trend in a sheer bralette and bedazzled black corset. The bottom of her look was made up of a beige pencil skirt, black riding boots, and a brown leather belt bag.
The following morning, Wilde posted images to Instagram of herself pre-event, including one photo from home that offered a rare glimpse at her seven-year-old son Otis, who she shares with ex-husband Jason Sudeikis. In the image, Otis, who has long wavy blonde hair like his mum, has his back to the camera and is looking up at Wilde, who’s smiling back at him. Her friend and co-founder of her retail site Conscious Commerce, Barbara Burchfield, is snapping a mirror selfie beside the mother-son duo. “Otis sets a strict curfew,” Wilde captioned the image.
Later, the 37-year-old director shared a close-up flash photo showing her waist up and highlighting her natural beauty look and loose waves, writing, “Oh what a niiiight.”
