Olivia Munn is one of several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Anna Wintour, who make cameo appearances in upcoming film Ocean’s Eight.

The female spin-off of the Ocean’s trilogy tells the story of a heist, but according to Oliva there’s also been a real-life rip-off.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Radio, The Newsroom actress revealed that her cameo – she’s one of several celebs that are in a scene set at the Met Gala – was not a paid role, and it actually cost her money.

“It’s a whole scene at the Met Ball and they’re like, ‘Do your own glam.’

“I got the dress, all that, and then you submit the bills for it because I’m part of your movie,” she explained.

“But the bills come right back to you. It actually cost me money to be in ‘Ocean’s Eight.'”

Regardless, the actress said she’s “just as excited about it as everyone else”.

We’ve got a feeling that after speaking out about it, the film company might offer to help Olivia out – at least, we hope.

There’s a key difference between Ocean’s Eight and the previous films in the blockbuster franchise – the cast of this instalment is female-led.

The ‘eight’ are Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and rapper-comedian Awkwafina, and Matt Damon will reprise his role as Linus Caldwell.

Reported to be making cameos along with Kim, Kendall and Anna Wintour are James Corden, Katie Holmes, Adriana Lima, and Dakota Fanning.

Can such a star-studded movie possibly live up to the hype? We’ll find out in June 2018, when Ocean’s Eight hits cinemas.
