Victoria Beckham is not a woman who does things by half-measures, be that getting her license renewed at the DMV in six-inch heels, or her insistence on eating salmon every single day to promote her skin’s natural collagen. So it’s no surprise that her Halloween costumes was incredibly bougie. The designer shared a picture of herself and husband David Beckham yesterday evening, in which she wore a $2,700 dress from her own label with a truly terrifying Pennywise clown mask (from the film It).

“Check out Mrs Adams!” she wrote in her caption—referencing her maiden name. “I love you @davidbeckham.Happy Halloween 🎃” David Beckham paired it back a little. He and the couple’s 9-year-old daughter, Harper Seven, wore matching pumpkin sweaters with vampire’s fangs.

Victoria’s dress—a silk draped mid-length dress with back cut-out detail—is from her brand’s fall winter ’21 collection, which debuted at London Fashion Week in February and became available for purchase last month. The dress, which retails for $2,700 AUD, is cinched at the waist with an oh-so-Halloween belt made of clasping hands. Beckham has been posting a lot about the dress lately, which she calls one of her favourites from the new collection. “I love a little black dress for date night,” she wrote in a gushing Instagram video. “Great dramatic sleeves and a super-feminine cut-out low back.”

Though she has been the inspiration for many a Halloween gag (fellow former Spice Girl Mel B famously dressed as Victoria in 2018, holding a sign that read ‘No, I am not going on tour’), this is the first time Beckham has committed to a costume herself. That is, if you discount the terrifying rabbit mask she wore in a selfie last year, which was also paired with new seasons pieces from the VB brand. One thing you can’t knock the Beckhams for—they certainly know how to stay on-brand.
