Set a reminder for November 17, because The Crown is returning to our screens.
Netflix announced the premiere date for the third season overnight, and also shared a first look at Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II.
Colman, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Anne, Queen of Great Britain and Ireland in The Favourite says so much with one look in the brief teaser.

Yes, Queen.
Colman replaces Claire Foy, who portrayed Queen Elizabeth for the first two seasons, but has been forced to hand over the reigns as the show enters a new historical era.
Colman will portray the British royal family monarch for the time period stretching from 1964 to 1977. Historical milestones we’re likely to see depicted include Prince Charles’ coronation as the Prince of Wales, Winston Churchill’s funeral and Beatlemania.
The Oscar-winner recently told Vanity Fair she worked meticulously to nail the persona of Queen Elizabeth, but it especially difficult for several reasons.
“My Dropbox couldn’t cope with the amounts of stuff their research department sent,” she said, adding that she had big shoes to fill because everyone “is in love with Claire Foy … including me.”
“You watch her [Queen Elizabeth] move and how her movements change. . . . The way she holds her handbag. . . . I’m still not very good at physical copying. One of the directors kept shouting, ‘Queen, not farmer.’ So I’ll keep trying.”
Colman isn’t the only new addition to the cast for season three. Tobias Menzies replaces Matt Smith as Prince Philip, while Helena Bonham Carter steps in after Vanessa Kirby to portray Princess Margaret.
Up-and-coming British actress Emma Corrin has been cast to play Lady Diana Spencer.
