With only 25 days left of the year, we’re taking a look back at some of the biggest beauty trends of 2019. Like fashion, beauty tends to go in cycles, meaning that early ’90s nostalgia, taupe lips, scrunchies, lip gloss and face-framing tendril fringes were big (we see you, Bella Hadid). And in amongst this cultural beauty zeitgeist, nail art made its way back onto our feeds and in turn, our fingers. We saw naked manicures, french manicures, neon manicures… even manicures that were an extension of logomania. See our wrap of the best below.

A perfect negative white manicure. This design is great for short nails.

Neon green blew up, thanks to Kim Kardashian West.

Kylie, queen of the baby pink stiletto nail.

Manicure heaven exists and it comes in the form of these Chanel designs.

Tie Dye: the calling card of millennial youth.

Bella Hadid with a canary yellow French mani.

A gelato hue on each digit is an easy DIY option.

Fendi as it turns out, is perfect for fingers.
