Transseasonal pieces are a fashion lover’s Holy Grail. After all, who doesn’t want a dress that can be worn all year long?
With that in mind, lovers of British fashion label Self Portrait are especially in luck given a limited edition capsule collection created for online fashion retailer MyTheresa.com features dresses are akin to striking trans-seasonal gold.
The brand, known for its modern feminine style and see in past seasons on Meghan Markle, Gigi Hadid, Olivia Palermo and Chrissy Teagan, needs no introduction to its fans. This collection sees its typical fitted dresses and laser-cut fabrics replaced with flowing silhouettes and floral prints.
For example, an off-the-shoulder ruffled midi dress and luxe-peasant maxi are a far cry from the style of dress we’re used to from designer Han Chong. But the feminine, easy-wear sentiment he’s embodied in past collections is most certainly still there, and amplified.
