Monica Barbaro and Andrew Garfield made their official public debut as a couple when they attended day seven of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships over the weekend.
Both dressed in head-to-toe Ralph Lauren, the couple were pictured donning classic tennis whites, walking hand-in-hand and enjoying each other’s company while watching the match.

Barbaro, 35, and Garfield, 41, even put on a loved-up display from the stands.

Rumours of a romance between the two began in 2024 and were only (somewhat) confirmed when they were spotted leaving the Vanity Fair Oscar party together. Attending her first Academy Awards as a nominee earlier this year, the A Complete Unknown star did not pose for any public photos with Garfield, neither at the awards ceremony nor the after party, but the two did appear to arrive together, as noticed by fans.
Unlike her co-star Timothée Chalamet, who garnered plenty of attention with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner as his plus one, Barbaro kept things incredibly under the radar throughout the night. But by the end of the night, they left together, making it clear that, quiet as they may be, they were very much a thing.
The couple were first seen together in January at W magazine’s Best Performances party in Los Angeles. They were then spotted on February 20, attending a performance of Jonathan Bailey’s Richard II in London.

On February 21, People magazine reportedly confirmed that Barbaro and Garfield were seeing each other, with a source describing their relationship as “low-key,” which is fitting, especially for Garfield, who has always kept his love life private.
“I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever,” he told Esquire last year during an interview.
Though it’s unclear how long Barbaro and the We Live In Time star have been dating, Garfield was confirmed to have split with his ex, Dr. Kate Tomas, months before she confirmed the news in October 2024.
As for Barbaro, she’s (wisely) kept her personal life out of the spotlight up until now.
