As the founder of a beauty brand, it’s somewhat expected that Millie Bobby Brown likes to have a bit of fun with her aesthetic. The star has well and truly experimented with a number of hair and makeup trends in the past – most recently, she swapped her trademark brunette tresses for long, platinum blonde hair, before transitioning back to her natural hue earlier this year – but she also enjoys switching up her nails.
In a sweet snap posted to her Instagram page this week, the Stranger Things actor revealed her engagement to partner Jake Bongiovi. But beyond the stunning diamond ring that sparkled on her finger (congrats guys!), we also took note of her chic chrome manicure. While it’s no secret that chrome nails are having a major moment – hello, Hailey Bieber and the glazed donut nails craze – we’re loving Brown’s more subdued, subtle take on the trend.
In the photo of the betrothed pair, the Florence By Mills founder is sporting a high-shine, almond-shaped silver manicure, which flashed against her engagement ring thanks to the metallic finish. While it’s not clear when exactly the picture was taken – rumours swirled last month that the young couple were engaged when Brown posted a snap where she can clearly be seen wearing a ring – the manicure proved the perfect accompaniment to the star’s new accessory.
After starting her beauty brand at the age of 15 in 2019, Brown has become something of a beauty icon. The star’s line of skincare and makeup products has also gone from strength to strength, as it was reported last year that the brand was ranked number one for overall growth and performance in 2022.
