Miley Cyrus, as we know, is an outspoken lass, unafraid to speak her mind about most things.

On the subject of Liam Hemsworth, however, her partner of ten years whom she split from in August, she has not said a great deal other than respectful things about him and their relationship.

Liam and I have been together for a decade,” she tweeted on August 22.  “I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.”

Over the weekend, however, she seemed to have changed her stance a little.

Filming a livestream video chat with current beau, Australian singer-songwriter Cody Simpson, Cyrus threw some pretty serious shade in Liam’s direction, while also, perhaps inadvertently, landing some blows on Kaitlynn Carter, the reality star she had a brief fling with after splitting from Liam, and, well, the entire LGBQTI community, to be honest.

“You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d__ks out there, you’ve just got to find them. You’ve got to find a d__k that’s not a d__k, you know,” she said.

‘I always thought I had to be gay, because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have d__ks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this live,” she added, referring to Cody.

It was a troubling way of writing off her recent tryst with Kaitlynn, and frankly, quite offensive to the many gay people who don’t feel that their sexuality was something they were forced into due to lack of appropriate options of the opposite sex.

“There are good men out there, guys, don’t give up,” she said, effectively telling us all not to turn gay.

Cody had just landed in Sydney, where he is rumoured to be one of the disguised vocalists featured on The Masked Singer, while Miley chatted to him from home in LA.

In the same conversation, the lovers also seemed to confirm that they’re living together, making reference to their matching electric cars at home (so relatable!)

“We got matching Teslas!” said Cody. “Mine’s dirty, hers is clean.”

“Mine’s not clean!” Miley retorted, “Mine’s dirty because mine is sitting in the driveway because yours is in the garage!”

“You can switch them out. Mine’s probably full by now,” Cody offered sweetly, referring to his car battery being charged.

Earlier this month Miley captioned a photo of Simpson with the caption “Move in day”.

All of this, including her rendezvous with Kaitlynn, has happened just two months after Miley split from Liam.
