It’s widely known that the Kunis-Kutcher relationship wasn’t one that blossomed straight away. Indeed Kunis’ bossy and straight-talking character Jackie in That 70’s Show wasn’t grabbing the off-screen attention of the man behind Michael Kelso, Kutcher. Nor was she extending a post-wrap drink invite to him. “We would never be together based on the people we used to be,” Kunis told The Howard Stern Show.

The actress, 32, did say however that the first time she fell for Kutcher was years later at an awards show, just shortly after he had split with Demi Moore. “I see this guy and I see his back and he’s really tall,” she said. “Then he just turns around and it was literally like if we were in a movie, the music would start playing and the violins would go. I think for the first time ever he took my breath away – I was like, ‘f**k, he’s good-looking,’”.

It turns out the feeling was mutual but like most men, it took Kutcher a little while – and an attempt to set Kunis up with his friend at his housewarming – before he realised, ‘hang on, he really was in love with Jackie’. “Long story short, I didn’t leave until the next morning,” she revealed. “[It was] the first time I ever slept over while I was single.” Deciding to keep things casual at first, the pair decided to become exclusive three months in. “We started dating with the idea we were both never going to get married,” she said, “A year later we were like, ‘Tomorrow let’s [get married].” Kutcher and Kunis welcomed a daughter, Wyatt Isabelle in 2014.
