Thomas Markle is refusing to heed warnings from Meghan and the rest of the royal family that if he wants a relationship with his daughter, he needs to stop talking about her in public.

Incredibly, Mr Markle has given yet another interview in which he discussed his daughter, claiming she “ghosted” him. He even begged Queen Elizabeth to help him speak to her.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain via Skype, Mr Markle lamented:

“I’ve been ghosted,” he said. “I’m not sure why it’s happening. I love my daughter very much. I wish she would reach out, send me a text, anything. There has to be a place for me. I’m her father.”

“She has always been a very controlling person, and that is part of her nature—but she has never been rude,” he continued.

“She has always been in charge.”

He even made a direct appeal to Meghan, saying down the camera:

“I love you very much. I would like to hear from you. Whatever difficulties we’ve had, I hope we can work through them. We’re family.”

Calling on Meghan’s grandmother-in-law, the Queen, he said:

“I would be grateful for anything she can do. I would think she would want to resolve any family problems. All families, royal or not, need to be together, especially in the holidays.”

Unfortunately for Thomas, he’s unlikely to hear from Meghan this Christmas. More than likely, she’s waiting for enough time to pass without an interview until she feels she can trust him.
