Newlywed couples are generally allowed to get away with a cheesy social media post or two in those heady weeks after saying ‘I do’.
But Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley, who married in a secret ceremony in Byron Bay just before Christmas, need no such allowances, because they’ve mastered the art of the loved-up update without inducing eye rolls.
After Margot’s cheeky Instagram post that publicly confirmed the reports she’d married her British partner of three years, now Tom has followed up with his own version: a black and white shot of he and Margot kissing, him casually with a beer in hand, and the short but sweet caption ‘she’s all that’.

After spending the Christmas holidays and New Year’s Eve with family and friends in Queensland following their wedding, the couple are now in Los Angeles where the Suicide Squad star was spotted at an ice skating rink, presumably preparing for her role playing American former figure skater Tony Harding in a film about the scandal-plagued Olympian. Harding’s husband Jeff Gillooly and some other men physically attacked Tonya’s rival Nancy Kerrigan in order to prevent her from competing in the 1994 Olympics – they were caught, and Gillooly turned against his wife to reduce his prison sentence. She was stripped of the Olympic medals she’d won in the past and banned for life. The film is scheduled for a 2018 release.
