When Margot Robbie stepped out in that stunningly simple Calvin Klein dress at the Met Gala earlier this week it was a surprisingly pared-back choice for the event, but an obvious match for the Australian actresses’ minimal aesthetic. Radiant face and flawless body, she carried the custom gown without fault.

Now that it has just been announced that Robbie will face the label’s next-to-launch fragrance, deep euphoria, the match-up makes even more sense.

Set to appear in global print and television campaigns, this marks the first time Robbie has fronted a fragrance brand.

Hitting counters in August 2016, deep euphoria is the third in the euphoria range and is described by Calvin Klein as the “more modern, empowered sister” to the existing two fragrances.

euphoria Calvin Klein is a major franchise within the Calvin Klein house, and the addition of deep euphoria to our diverse and comprehensive portfolio will fuel the development and innovation to continue driving the Calvin Klein Fragrance business,” said Vincent Brun, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, Calvin Klein Fragrances, Coty Inc.

“Ms. Robbie perfectly embodies the modern femininity of the empowered deep euphoria woman that we believe will resonate with women around the world.”

Robbie will have a chance to resonate in person too, with the in-demand actress set to spend her Northern Hemisphere summer promoting her starring roles in two of 2016’s most highly anticipated movies; The Legend of Tarzan alongside Alexander Skarsgård, and of course the much-buzzed Suicide Squad, which also stars Jared Leto, Will Smith and fellow Australian, Jai Courtney.
