Lourdes Leon has opened up on dating Timothée Chalamet, revealing he was her “first boyfriend.”
Madonna’s daughter, who is the new face of fashion label Marc Jacobs, opened up to Vanity Fair about her time at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan alongside the Call Me By Your Name star – and Ansel Elgort. Lourdes shared that she “respects” Timothée a lot, adding, “we were a little item, my first boyfriend.” But she didn’t have as kind words for West Side Story actor Ansel, claiming he was a “terrible DJ.”
Ouch.
Timothée and Lourdes reportedly began dating in high school in 2013, and were first pictured by paparazzi that same year walking hand-in-hand in New York. They also shared the stage together while in school, performing in a high school production of Sweet Charity.
Timothée has moved on from his young love with Lourdes, and recently rekindled his romance with Lily-Rose Depp, three years after they were first spotted together. The pair’s relationship blossomed in 2018 and in 2019 they were famously spotted indulging in some major PDA on a boat in Italy. Yet it was all over by early 2020 when it was confirmed the actor was single again – until April 2021, when fans snapped the two together in New York. Sources later told E! News they had indeed rekindled their relationship, and that the blurry fan pictures were of Lily.
“It was her,” a source confirmed to E! News. “They saw her go in an Uber to his place, pick him up and head to Brooklyn.”
Timothée, 25, and 21-year-old Lily-Rose met on the set of Netflix film The King.
