Now, innovative Italian lifestyle label Moncler has released the latest in its Moncler Genius venture – a capsule collection with Irish designer Simone Rocha inspired by “the world of gardens”. The boutique range is made up of conservative-cut, floral-print dresses in romantic light taffetas, tulles and lightweight nylons paired with Wellingtons and gardening gloves. It’s a fell-asleep-under-an-apple-tree kind of look. A fanciful option for anyone bold enough to relish in unexpected style icons such as Cosette from Les Misérables or Laury from Oklahoma! You need a healthy dose of nonchalance (and maybe a brooch, a wicker hat and a cross-stitch set) to pull off this quirky, certifiable antidote to fashion normalcy and real life at large.
