May 10, 2021: The first images of the upcoming Hulu series Pam & Tommy were released on Friday, and the entire internet yelled a collective “Wait, who is that?” when they saw the photos of stars Sebastian Stan and Lily James. Gone were Bucky Barnes and the girl bopping around as a young Meryl Streep in Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, and they were replaced with, well, what looks like an exact replica of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson circa 1995.
Pam & Tommy will cover the pair’s whirlwind relationship after marrying in 1995 after knowing each other for only 96 hours. It also follows the scandal surrounding a sex tape stolen by an employee, played by Seth Rogen. Despite not having a formal release date just yet, the limited series looks to be garnering as much buzz as the couple did themselves back in the 90s. Below, check out the first photos to drop in anticipation of the show so far.
Yeah, we can’t believe it either. The platinum blonde hair, the commitment to voluminous, bombshell curls, the smoky cat-eye, and of course, the nude lip that created a legacy. Actress Jameela Jamil says it all in one tweet:

Perhaps it’s obvious, but James is in good hands. Makeup artist David Williams is already an Emmy winner for his makeup transformations, having recreated historical looks on shows like American Crime Story: Versace, Mad Men, and Feud: Bette and Joan. Likewise, celebrity hairstylist Barry Lee Moe is on hair, and he, too, is an Emmy award-winner. Not to jump the gun, but it feels safe to say that this glam squad is bound to win even more.
