If there’s one person in Hollywood who never shies away from a party, it’s Leonardo DiCaprio. To celebrate his 48th birthday, the Academy Award-winning actor and true Scorpio through and through hosted a star-studded birthday party in LA.
On Saturday night, celebrities such as Kate Hudson and Bradley Cooper (the cutest friends who arrived at the event together), as well as Ashton Kutcher, Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Mick Jagger, Jamie Foxx, LeBron James and DiCaprio’s longtime sidekick Tobey Maguire arrived at the venue for the night: a mansion in Beverly Hills (but of course).
Other notable attendees included Adrien Brody, Stella Maxwell, Nicky Hilton, Rebel Wilson and fiancée Ramona Agruma, Evan Ross, Sommer Ray and James’ agent (and Adele’s partner), Rich Paul.
“It was a great party with music, drinks and catered food,” a source told People. “Everyone seemed to have a great time.” According to Page Six, unfortunately for us, the birthday boy had guests leave their phones in secure bags at the entrance before entering the party to keep the whole night off social media.
Notably absent — or notably not photographed entering the venue, at least — was DiCaprio’s rumoured flame, Gigi Hadid. After first being photographed together at a New York Fashion Week party in September, the pair were then photographed in Paris the next month entering the same hotel during fashion week and reportedly attended the same Halloween party a few weeks ago in LA together. A source told Page Six at the time that the pair arrived together on a party bus, where they were joined by Hadid’s sister, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk and art dealer Helly Nahmad.
A different source told People this month that the model and DiCaprio are “continuing to enjoy each other’s company”, adding they “are seeing each other in N.Y.C. when they can” and that Hadid is having “fun dating Leo.”
