Following Beyoncé and Rosie Huntington-Whitely, reality television star come fashion designer Lauren Conrad had given birth to a baby boy. The 31-year-old and her lawyer husband William Tell, 37, are proud parents to Liam James.
“We are thrilled to share that we welcomed our son Liam James Tell into our family,” a statement by Conrad told PEOPLE. “Mom, Dad and baby are doing well. We’re already in love! [Our dogs] Chloe and Fitz aren’t so sure…”.
Marrying in September 2014 in Santa Ynez in California, little Liam weighed in at six pounds, 14 ounces. Conrad made a special announcement via an Instagram post within the last hour.
“I’ll be taking a little bit of a step back from the site over the next few weeks as we adjust to life as a family of three (five you count Chloe and Fitz of course…”, Conrad shared on her personal website. “I’ll still be blogging here and there when I can, bringing you updates from my life as a new mom.”
While fellow The Hills co-star Audrina Patridge gave birth to a daughter last year, fellow co-stars Heidi Montag and Whitney Port are currently pregnant. Prior to giving birth, Conrad told Parents and Fit Pregnancy and Baby that she wasn’t too worried about the pain associated with childbirth. “Maybe I’m just naïve, but it’s pretty low on my list of concerns. I feel like women have been doing this forever,” she said.
