Kylie Minogue has reportedly (and if true very sadly) called off her engagement to 29-year-old British actress Joshua Sasse. The singer, 49, has allegedly kicked him out of their London home after he allegedly grew too close to Spanish actress and US TV drama No Tomorrow co-star Marta Milans, 34. Sasse is believed to have bonded with the actress as they shot the show late last year in Vancouver, Canada.
While Minogue’s representatives are yet to comment on the break-up, The Sun reports a source as saying “she no longer trusts him” and after growing suspicions “furiously” ended the relationship. The news comes just days after Minogue said she would drop her famous last name. Australians would also remember the I Should Be So Lucky singer and Sasse spoke about gay marriage equality at the ARIA awards at the end of November. “She is absolutely devastated, totally heartbroken,” a source told the publication. “She really believed he was the one.”
Just five days ago, Minogue’s songwriter friend Grace Barker posted an image on Instagram where Minogue’s Art-deco inspired engagement ring is missing. Minogue posted the same image on her own Instagram hiding her left hand.
