Last month, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott gave birth to their second child: a baby boy who they revealed they’d named Wolf Jacques Webster. The middle name, Jacques, being Scott’s real first name.
But a few days ago, after sharing some candid photos and a YouTube clip of her pregnancy journey with fans, Jenner revealed there’s been a bit of a change up regarding her second child’s name. “FYI our sons [sic] name isn’t Wolf anymore 😅😅,” she wrote on Instagram stories. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere. 🙏”
Of course, this quickly sent the internet into overdrive with fans sleuthing to try to find out what name the pair landed on. Given their firstborn is named Stormi, and the Kardashian-Jenner family have a tradition of giving their children unique names – some of his cousins’ names are North, Saint, Psalm, Chicago, True and Dream – guessing feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
There is, however, one pretty major clue that Jenner dropped.
Right before announcing the name change, she posted a 9-minute-long video to YouTube entitled ‘To Our Son’. Within the montage, which includes everything from telling their family they’re expecting to the birthing process, there’s a clip of Scott’s mum, Wanda Webster, praising Jenner.
In it, she says, “What a wonderful mother you are, you always think about Stormi first… I’m so blessed and happy that you are the mother of my grandchildren. I love you, I love baby Jack and good luck!”
Now, ‘baby Jack’ is likely referring to the newborn’s initial middle name: Jacques. Does this mean the pair decided to replace ‘Wolf’ and make ‘Jacques’ his first name, instead?
Fans seem to think yes. One person tweeted, “Travis’ mom call their son “Baby Jack”?! Could it be short for Jacques or a play on the name?!” Another added “If Kylie renames her baby Jack, it would be the cutest thing ever” and a fourth wrote “Kylie’s baby’s name is Jack Webster I’m calling it right now”.
Stormi and Jacques does have a pretty cute ring to it.
