Just when you think you know someone, they go and surprise you. Here the world was out there thinking Kylie Jenner’s number one make-up love was lipstick. After all, it’s her puffed-up pout that’s made her the most headlines and she has her own, sells-out-in-seconds, Lip Kit collection. Then maybe, maybe, you’d count contouring products as her close second, right?
How foolish we’ve all been! In fact it’s blush that the younger Jenner and make-up master holds in highest regard. Tracking a killer Sephora haul (amounting to AU$1,589, ICYMI) on her Snap Chat, Kylie revealed to her followers eloquently; “My favourite thing ever is blush, so.” Hold up.

But in all seriousness with all blush puns aside, Kylie’s latest spree ticked off countless must-have make-up items. From cream, to blush, Kylie knows every girl needs several blush textures in her personal kit.
Starting with cream, Kylie snagged the Sephora Collection Airbrush Blush, which sadly isn’t available in Australia just yet. Next she moved onto powders choosing the cult Benefit Cheekathon Palette (“I love their products, it’s all my favourites in one.”) and Too Faced Sweetheart Blush Berry (“I love Too Faced and these little blushes, this is their new one, so I had to try”)

Venturing off course for a second, Jenner flashed the Becca X Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop saying, “Of course I’m not really a highlighter person but I had to get his Champagne Pop Jaclyn Hill because Jordyn put me on,” referencing her BFF Jordyn Woods. Next was the Laura Mercier Bronzed Butter Face & Body Veil, which again us Australians will have to wait for, but you can get her next pick online , Tatcha’s Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, which Kylie says her makeup artist, Ariel Tejada, swears by.

So what does Kylie new-found loved for blush mean for make-up? According to the NPD Group, consumers are increasingly obsessed with lip products with sales rising 19 per cent in 12 months, as of April this year. Sure Kylie can’t be held solely responsible for the growing spike in lip love, but you can’t deny the girl has pushed a movement of pout appreciation since putting her own pillowy one out here. So will this latest shimmery pink haul see a boom in blush sales in the same way? We’ll keep a peachy cheek close to the ground and keep you posted.
