Just yesterday, Kylie Jenner announced the birth of her second child, revealing she’d welcomed her and Travis Scott’s baby boy on February 2nd—one day after her daughter Stormi’s fourth birthday—through the use of a simple blue emoji on Instagram. (Her mother, Kris Jenner, later confirmed the arrival of her grandson).
Though Jenner and Scott haven’t revealed anything else beyond a cute photo of their newborn’s hand, fans have been busy sleuthing and have come up with a pretty convincing theory about the baby boy’s name. After going through Jenner’s many congratulatory messages, including ones from her close family and friends, many are guessing that Jenner’s second child is named Angel.
People reports Jenner’s older sister Kim and her mum both left the angel emoji on her post and referenced angels in their comments. “Angel Pie,” Jenner wrote, while makeup artist, Ariel Tejada, added, “Can’t wait to meet the little angel.”
Jenner’s best friend, who has Stormi’s name tattooed on her, Stassie Karanikolaou, also wrote “angel baby.” But perhaps the most convincing evidence? There’s already a Kylie Lip Kit called Angel, proving Jenner approves of the name.
Other fans insinuated Jenner somehow shared her due date months ago, during her Vogue “73 Questions” video, which featured a necklace with 222 charms dangling from her neck. Would she hold off giving birth to ensure Stormi and Angel’s birthdays were a day apart? I mean, yes, probably.
Jenner’s baby shower even had a hint at the name, with one of the cross-stitch hoops in her gallery framing a needlepoint that read “angel baby.”
Jenner made it clear she wanted to give Stormi a sibling for a long time, but her and Scott’s on-again, off-again relationship seemed to hold her back. But in September 2021, she announced her pregnancy. “She has been wanting to give Stormi a sibling for a while. She loves being a mum. She is thrilled that she and Travis are pregnant again,” a source told People at the time. “She has been enjoying her pregnancy in private. She has only spent time with close friends and family.”
