After revealing in an interview that she planned on proposing to her girlfriend Dylan Meyer, Kristen Stewart actually ended up being the one proposed to after Meyer surprised the actress last year. Stewart later confimed the news on The Howard Stern Show saying in her signature style, “We’re marrying. We’re totally gonna do it.” Though she didn’t go into specifics, Stewart added, “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it.”

Despite Stewart since having a jam-packed schedule filming Spencer in the UKthe Princess Diana film which has the 31-year-old’s name popping up a lot in awards season chatter— Stewart revealed the pair have managed to begin wedding prep in amongst it all.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stewart said her and Meyer’s wedding will likely be unconventional. “I don’t know how many traditions we’re going to follow,” she told the publication, before adding that she already knows what she’s wearing. “But I know what I’m going to wear,” she teased.

Though we’d love a sneak peek at Stewart as a bride (a Chanel couture gown?!) unfortunately, that’s about all the information she’s willing to share. “I can’t tell you,” she added, before saying the pair plan to surprise each other on the day with their attire. “Like, the whole thing, we kind of have to do the surprise thing,” she explained.

Back in that November conversation with Howard Stern, Stewart was more open to discussing her dressing options, saying at the time she wanted to wear “the best pair of Levi’s ever and like an old T-shirt that has a tuxedo printed on it but like cutoff, and barefoot.” She added, “I want to get married in Topanga. I want to be chilling. I want it to be very homey. I want to see her laugh hysterically when she sees me in like a faux-tuxedo T-shirt.”

Stewart first met Meyer, a screenwriter and actor, more than half a decade ago. The pair reconnected in LA in 2019 at a friend’s birthday party and dated for about two years before getting engaged. “The day that I met her, all bets were off,” Stewart told Stern.
