It’s not the kind of comment Kris Jenner would approve of, but Kourtney Kardashian has admitted she wouldn’t exactly hate it if the reality show that’s taken over her life for the last nine years was to end.

Kourtney made the surprising admission in an interview with the UK’s You magazine, perhaps revealing she’s become a little weary of the almost constant presence of cameras in her life.

“I don’t want the show to end, but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did, and I could just move away from it all,” she said. “By the end of every season I’ve had enough, but then once we have had a break I’m ready for more.”

The qualifier at the end of her sentence might’ve been to appease Kris, the family’s ‘Momajer’, who is the driving force behind the Kardashian brand, which has spawned countless product lines and endorsement deals sold on an undefinable quality that has seen the family become a party of the daily news cycle.

Kourtney has always seemed like one of the least invested members of the show, going along with the ride of the family’s unanticipated fame and influence. Her half-sister Kylie Jenner has also showed some dislike for public life recently, turning off comments on her Instagram account and stating on the show “I know I wasn’t meant to be famous”. But it’s unlikely either of them will find themselves fading into obscurity any time soon, if Kris, Kim and Kanye have anything to do with it.
