Since ending her nine-month relationship with Pete Davidson, her first relationship since her divorce from Kanye West, Kim Kardashian has been held the title of the world’s hottest bachelorette. (Followed closely by Emily Ratajkowski, who, naturally, Davidson also dated).
The reality-TV star turned fashion and beauty mogul turned lawyer turned private equity firm founder (?) hasn’t publicly been linked to anyone in almost a year, since the news of her and Davidson’s split was made public in August 2022.
Leaving many to wonder, who will she date next?
With a track record including sports players, musicians and now comedians, it could, really be anyone’s game.
But perhaps the graphic T-shirt she was wearing last night provides a clue about her new type: while sitting front row at a Lakers game, Kardashian opted to wear a pair of distressed high-waisted blue jeans with a cropped white baby tee that has graphic font on the front reading, “I LOVE NERDS.”
Kardashian paired the low-key outfit with strappy heels and gold layered necklaces, pulling her hair back into a tight bun.
Given her recent pivot away from fashion and beauty toward studying law and working in criminal justice reform, not to mention her private equity fund, which I simply cannot bring myself to find out more about for the purpose of this piece, it would make sense that Kardashian would be looking away from the high-profile men she’s dated in the past and, instead, be more attracted to someone who is smart and successful because of their brain.
When news of her and West’s marriage breakdown was first reported on, stories began circulating about Kardashian being courted by billionaires, A-listers and even royals, with some hinting that a relationship with CNN’s 52-year-old commentator Van Jones, a lawyer who also shares Kardashian’s passions of law and prison reform, could be on the cards.
At the time, a source told Page Six, “The qualities most important to her are someone who values family, is supportive, fun, romantic, enjoys the simple things and is also hardworking. Someone who values family first and foremost because she’s a mum of four kids.”
Now that a new season of The Kardashians is about to premiere, who’s to say we won’t get our first glimpse at a dating Kim.
