Last week, Pete Davidson raised eyebrows when he said his biggest goal in life is to have children and become a dad.
But if you thought that admission would send his new girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who already has four kids to her ex-husband, Kanye West, running to the hills, think again.
ICYMI, the SNL comedian publicly professed his desire to be a dad during a recent appearance on Peacock’s Hart to Heart. “[I’m] definitely a family guy,” Davidson said. “My favourite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid. That’s like my dream. It’s like, super corny, [but] it would be so fun. Dress up the little dude.”
He continued, “It’s just like, I’m so excited for that chapter. … That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude, develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier.”
Since then, Kardashian hasn’t made any public declarations of her desire to add more children to her family – unlike her younger sister Kylie Jenner who just commented four (four?) pregnancy emojis on Travis Scott’s Instagram – but according to Us Weekly, kids aren’t off the table.
“They both have busy schedules at the moment, but are still making time to be together,” a source said of how the pair are prioritising their relationship right now, such as when Kardashian flew to Australia – via Tahiti, of course – while Davidson was filming on-location there. “They’re very much enjoying spending time together…It’s quite romantic.”
They added, “Pete would make a great dad. He’s goofy and fun to be around. He wants to be a big role model for his kid/kids – something he missed out on sadly after his father passed away when he was younger. He has a really good heart and comes from a good place. He can’t wait to be a dad.”
Furthermore, on a recent episode of The Kardashians, the family was asked who among them would be the most likely to have six children like their mum, Kris Jenner. Each sister picked Kourtney Kardashian (who’s publicly trying with her new husband, Travis Barker), except for Kim, who picked both Kourtney and herself. I’m no mathematician but, two babies enough for you, Pete?
