Kim Kardashian was inspired by sentimentality for her first red carpet appearance since she was robbed at gun point in Paris last year.

Kardashian arrived at the 2017 Fashion Los Angeles Awards in a white, sheer Givenchy gown reminiscent of the dress she wore to wed Kanye West in 2014, all sheer panels and lace embellishment.

Kim was there to present an award to fashion photographer, Mert Alas, who won Creative Of The Year. Alas recently photographed Selena Gomez for American Vogue, and was behind the camera for Kim’s nude-bar-a-leather-jacket photoshoot for GQ last year. When presenting the award to Alas, she revealed how she didn’t plan to strip off for that particular photoshoot.

“I’ll swear I’ll never do a nude shoot again, [because] my publicist will kill me,” Kim told the crowd.

“I’ll stand on set and she’ll go to the bathroom and he’ll get my clothes off. He’s just honestly the funniest person I’ve ever met in my entire life.”

She also alluded to her close friendship with the Turkish photographer.

“He’s the kind of guy, when you’re going through something tough will come over and bring you icecream and be there with you, and then after a little while he’ll tell you to stop eating icecream and get it together because there’s a photoshoot to do.”

Alas has also photographed Taylor Swift, Kate Moss and Rihanna, and often works in collaboration with Marcus Piggott.
