Kim Kardashian West’s social media silence continues on as it reaches the three-week mark since the reality star was held at gunpoint by five armed thieves at her hotel room during Paris Fashion Week. Making away with around AUD $13 million worth of jewellery, the terrifying ordeal has left Kardashian in a blackout state, with PEOPLE releasing an inside scoop that she’s “still having a difficult time” with “zero desire to resume her old life.”
All of Kardashian’s social media profiles have had nil activity, save for a twitter sweep and a photo of a hand written letter on her website by her assistant Stephanie Sherpard, who has also been mostly silent on her social media ever since the robbery. The letter details how Kardashian will be “taking some much needed time off.”
Though other family members of the Kardashian clan have all gone back to social media, reports say there’s no pressure on Kardashian herself, with her having “the best support from her family.” Last week, Khloe Kardashian said on the Ellen Show after the robbery her sister “has not been doing that well.” With Kanye West in the midst of his Saint Pablo tour, reports say that he regularly flies back home to see his wife and two children North and Saint.
Kardashian turns 36 on Friday, and having celebrated last year with a booked out theatre courtesy of her husband, it seems this year will not be as extravagant with the source stating she plans on keeping things low key. “She just wants to be with her kids and out of public,” they said.
Filming of Keeping up with the Kardashians has been placed on hold indefinitely.
